What's in the Textbook? A Systematic Introduction To Science
This course is designed to be a systematic introduction to science and covers the following topics in broad terms:
  • The Scientific Method
  • Designing Experiments
  • Archaeology
  • Geology
  • Paleontology
  • Biology
  • Human Anatomy
  • Human Physiology
The course is not intended to be a focused study of these topics. Rather, this course introduces students to these topics and to the organized study of science. Since it is a students first introduction to science, we recommend it as a 7th or 8th grade course depending on the student.

This curriculum gives students a scientific education that will help him or her make a reasoned defense of the Christian Faith.

There are 16 modules (chapters) in this course. You can divide the course into four  quarters, which works out to four modules per quarter. Each quarter should take you nine weeks to complete, so you should shoot for finishing a module every two weeks or so. If  you do that, each quarter will take you 8 weeks. Thus, you have about a week of flexibility time with each quarter.

The course is a 2 volume set made up of  the Exploring Creation With General Science student text, which contains all student material, on-your-own questions and solutions, laboratory exercises, and chapter study guides. Color photos and illustrations.

The second book is a softbound solutions and tests manual, which contains the answers to  the chapter study guides, tests, and test solutions. Printed in black and white.

No Laboratory equipment comes with this course. This course uses household items for all labs.  Lab supplies needed for each module are listed in the front of the textbook for your convenience.

What Parents Are Saying
Here are some comments we have received from the students and parents who have used this course:

"I love this course. I really appreciate the apologetics throughout -- the way you teach the student to think. I’m learning too!"
-- parent

"My daughter (without having read a word) declared on the first day of school, ‘I hate science and I don’t want to do this’ . . .
By the end of the first section she admitted that the bread mold was kinda cool . . . we did the first experiment and she thought it was ‘totally cool’ and her report indicate[d] that she understood what happened and the purpose for the experiment. . . She wanted to know if this science book had more experiments and when I told her that it did, she decided that science this year might not be too bad. I thought you would enjoy this conversion story." -- parent

"My daughter has never really enjoyed science, but now she can hardly wait until the next modules come! She was watching for UPS for three days before these last ones came." -- parent

"I just wanted to let you know how much I really enjoyed Module 8 Uniformitarianism and Catastrophism . . . It has been my favorite module so far . . . Thank you for writing such a neat textbook." -- student

"What a God-send in this day in age...and an answer to one of my prayers for my children!  I have felt privileged all year to be using this material.  I can only thank you again for allowing the Lord to work through you in this way.  You are an instrument of declaring HIS truth and wisdom.  May He richly bless you..."--parent

"I just want to say AGAIN how thrilled I am to have discovered your curriculum.   My daughter and I are immensely enjoying studying the material.  My daughter loves her science!  I am so thrilled with the added teaching that is training her to be able to defend her faith from an evidence point of view."--parent

"I thought the section on Simple Machines was excellent compared to how it is done in some other textbooks. Keep up the good work!" -- parent
