1) The first book, hardbound,
is the student text, which contains all student material, on-your-own questions and
solutions, laboratory exercises, and chapter study guides. Color photos and illustrations,
584 pages.2)
The second book, softbound, is the solutions and tests manual, which contains answers to
chapter study guides, tests, and test solutions, 163 pages (B&W).
3) The Laboratory Set allows
students to complete all of the assigned laboratory assignments. This set is sold
separately. |

Laboratory Experiments
There are many hands-on experiments to do, and they all use household chemicals and
supplies. All of the chemicals used in this course consist of household materials
such as table salt, baking soda, dishsoap, vinegar, etc. While the laboratory experiments
are designed for the home, some of them are easier with specialized equipment. Thus, we
make a Chemistry Laboratory Set available, sold separately
for $85.00. |
