A comprehensive treatment of
pre-calculus mathematics, Advanced Mathematics (Second Edition) features
topics from algebra, geometry, trigonometry, discrete mathematics, and mathematical
analysis are interwoven to form a fully integrated text. Specific topics covered in this
text include permutations and combinations, trigonometric identities, inverse
trigonometric functions, conic sections, graphs of sinusoids, rectangular and polar
representations of complex numbers, De Moivre's theorem, matrices and determinants, the
