SCIENCE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Beginning with God's creation, the Switched-On Schoolhouse Science curriculum series leads
the student to a more in-depth knowledge about himself and the multiple facets of his
environment.
In grades 4 through 8, the Switched-On
Schoolhouse Science curriculum teaches basic knowledge about man and his physical
environment. Health studies covering proper nutrition, hygiene, and disease are discussed.
In grades 9 through 12, the curriculum teaches physical science, biology, chemistry, and
physics.
Switched-On Schoolhouse Science presents
clear, accurate illustrations of scientific principles with full multimedia video-clips,
audio tracks, color photos and illustrations. Experiments are conducted to reinforce the
concepts being taught.
