HISTORY AND GEOGRAPHY OVERVIEW
The Switched-On Schoolhouse History & Geography curriculum will start your
student with an exploration of the 50 states and then take them on a tour of our world
geography. Designed to make the study of history and geography relevant and thought
provoking, your student will enjoy this curriculum and be asking you for more.
The History and Geography curriculum begins
with a study of the student's family and neighborhood and concludes with a study of the
challenges of democracy and special challenges facing the Christian in today's society.
The Switched-On Schoolhouse series takes
full advantage of opportunities to integrate the application of spiritual principles in a
meaningful way. World history is presented from a Biblical viewpoint.
Each Switched-On Schoolhouse CD ROM begins
with an overview which introduces the student to the topic to be studied. Multimedia
video-clips, audio, and colorful photos are found throughout this CD ROM curriculum.
