| This Economics curriculum
includes a 192 page hardcover student textbook and a 24 page Teacher's Guide book. Complex
economic concepts are presented in brief lessons using controlled vocabulary to make it
easy to understand. You may also purchase the student
textbook or the teacher guidebook separately. Students read about all parts of the economy. They
learn what causes the economy to do well one year and not so well the next. They read
about the kind of economy we have in the United States compared to the economies in other
nations. They learn about banks and how they do business. They learn about money and its
role in the economy. Finally, they learn about how the economy of the United States
depends on economies in other nations.
The Teacher's Guide book presents teaching
strategies for each chapter in the student book. For each chapter, the teacher is given
the objective, new vocabulary words, vocabulary activities, reading words, review words,
pre-reading activities, post-reading activities, and discussion questions. The Teacher's
Guide also provides the Answer Key for all of the review questions presented at the end of
each chapter in the student textbook. The review questions include vocabulary,
comprehension, critical thinking, and skill building.

provide an overview of economic basics. Students gain valuable insights to help them
understand how money is used as an exchange system for goods and services. Recommended for
