A chapter overview gives teachers a brief summary of the contents at the beginning of each chapter. Most other teaching aids have been placed in the margins positioned parallel to a pertinent section in the text to provide instant access to teaching strategies, hints, and answers to questions as you cover material with your student(s). These teaching aids include section objectives, suggestions for activities, clarification or expansion of points which are not entirely appropriate in the student edition, supplemental readings, and suggested supplementary materials. Each chapter also provides a suggested class schedule to help the teacher plan the lessons. The schedule is intended to be a helpful guide.
