Life
Science Overview:
The Life Science Home School Kit includes all materials needed for a complete
school year for the teacher and one student. Life Science for Christian Schools is
designed as a junior high course touching all the major areas of life science. This course
emphasizes areas that are particularly important to all Christians. Some areas of life
science are therefore dealt with differently than in many other junior high life science
texts. This course gives your
students an overview of science and its relationship to the Word of God. The illustrated
text deals with life processes of organisms, genetics, and biological evolution from a
biblical perspective. It also presents concepts in microbiology, plant biology, and
zoology, with a look at ecosystems.The

Teacher's Edition - The Teacher book is 528 pages, spiral bound. The Teacher's Edition offers reduced student text with a suggested teaching schedule,
notes, chapter overviews, and answers to all review questions. It also includes a section on
human reproduction (not included in student text), making the inclusion of that topic optional
in your students' course of study.

Text - The hardbound Student Text includes 512 pages. The
Student Text is full color and allows for independent reading and material for discussion.
Additional articles called Facets provide further exploration of special topics from each
chapter.
- Student Activities Book - The 337 page Student Activities Book provides hands-on investigations to reinforce
concepts presented in the text.
- Student Activities Teachers Edition
- This 342 page, spiral bound book provides Student Activities
with marginal notes and answer overprints.
- Tests
and Answer Key - Includes 31 tests.
