Examine God's handiwork, including the sun, moon, stars, planets, asteroids, comets, and meteors. Your students will see the perfection of God's design in a study of the earth, including the atmosphere, the lithosphere, and the hydrosphere. This study is divided into four parts:

• The Celestial Sphere - sometimes called outer space
• The Atmosphere - the layer of air surrounding the earth
• The Lithosphere - the solid part of the earth
• The Hydrosphere - the water that covers nearly three-fourths of the earth's surface

Written for 8th grade students, this course stresses concepts from earth science that are significant to all Christians. It emphasizes areas that are particularly important to Christian philosophy. Therefore, some areas of earth science are therefore dealt with differently than in many other earth science texts.
