Biology Kit Overview
Student Text
Student Lab Manual
Lab Manual Teachers Edition

The Teacher book includes two volumes with 742 pages, spiral bound. See science in modern life as your students study an introduction to cellular biology, genetics, taxonomy, microbiology, botany, zoology, and human anatomy. The biology materials uphold the sanctity and wonder of life as God has created it. These materials discuss Christian positions on eugenics, drugs, abortion, diseases, miracles, evolution, euthanasia, homosexuality, ecology, genetic engineering, AIDS, and animal rights. The Teacher's Edition contains extensive teaching notes, schedules, and activities. It also includes a reduced full-color student text with answers to all review questions.

For each chapter in the student text, the Teacher's Edition contains the following:

  • List of objectives
  • Suggested Time Frame for completion
  • Brief description of Laboratory Activities available in the Lab Manual
  • Overview of the chapter, including a discussion of various teaching techniques to be considered (and some to be avoided)
  • Marginal materials (etymologies and footnotes) of the student edition
  • Collection of teaching notes (in the margins)
  • Answers to the Review Questions at the end of each chapter
  • Answers to the Thought Questions at the end of each chapter

At the end of each of the two volumes are the Appendixes, the Glossary, and the Index. These sections are included in both volumes so that they can be used even when only one volume is used in the class or home school session.

The curriculum includes 24 chapters covering the topics shown below. At the end of each chapter, there are lists of new Biological Terms, Review Questions and Thought Questions.

  • Chapter 1 - The Science of Life and the God of Life
  • Chapter 2 - The Chemistry of Life
  • Chapter 3 - Cytology Part 1: Introduction to Cells
